Tuba Mouthpiece
Our development concept has been to create the ideal conditions for brass players to fully realise their musical expression. Through many years of collaborative research with musicians, we have delved into the hardness and crystalline structure of the metal at a microscopic level, and succeeded in controlling it to achieve the optimal state for performance. Designed to be user-friendly, it allows anyone to draw out the maximum musical expression with minimal effort, so please do pick one up and try it for yourself. We believe you will experience a playing sensation unlike anything you have encountered before.
・68H
Developed based on the second generation of the ‘Schilke Helberg II’. Taking into account changes in resonance due to acoustic processing, the weight has been increased slightly compared to the original.
It is characterised by a rounded, relatively thick rim.
・68HL
A version with a thinner rim and reduced wall thickness compared to the 68H. It offers a weight and playing feel closer to the current generation of Helberg II.
・67H
A version of the 68H with an inner rim diameter of 32.5mm.
・67HL
A version with a thinner rim and reduced wall thickness compared to the 67H.
・BLM327
A reissue of the early ‘Schilke Helberg II’ model. Compared to the current generation, the cup is shallower and the rim is rounder, though the rim is not as thick as that of the second generation.
・BLM322F
Developed based on the Yamaha BB-Bobo-Solo. Unlike the Bobo-Solo, the back throat has a gently flaring structure, improving performance on rotary tubas.
